Funny girl!

Kate's hair looked so funny today; it was sticking straight up on top, and Dan jokingly said she looked like Buckwheat (or whoever that is from the Little Rascals with the cowlick; maybe Alfalfa?) Anyway, here she is!

Why can't I get up the stairs?

Such a beautiful dress!

On Monday, December 16, we took Kate to get her pictures taken with Kirsti and Rori. We thought it'd be fun to have their Christmas pictures taken together, since they're all 7 years apart. I got some shots of her beforehand in her beautiful dress; can you believe I got this on sale for only $22.00 or so?

What is this blasted thing on me?

Nine and a half months!

Ok, well, Kate is technically 10 months now, but these photos were taken of her when she was 9.5 months. It's getting harder and harder to get pictures of her with the bear; she's on the go constantly!

Ignore my huge knee; I was leaning back to try to get a good picture of her before she escaped!

Hey, what're you lookin' at?

I didn't do that...

A Hat She Can't Pull Off!

So, we got tired of Kate always pulling her hat off, especially since she's clearly cold without it. We went to Target and got her this adorable hat that she can't pull off without a LOT of effort. Works for us!

Trying to pull it off, but she can't!

Love this one of her!

Such a fancy coat!

I love how Kate looks in this pink coat my mom got her. And it's so warm and cozy, too!

Kate's First St. Nick's Day

On Sunday night, we set out our shoes so that St. Nick could come, and then on Monday afternoon, when Dan got home from work, we looked at our treats.

Our shoes with the goodies. Dan got Reeses chocolate peanut butter trees and a Starbucks gift card. I got a cool scarf and glove set, and a yummy scented candle.

Kate got the shoes that kids are unable to pull off (which is something she needs; she pulls off her shoes all the time! Too bad these are the 12 month size and a little too big for her currently.) She also got two board books that she really seems to like.

Yay, shoes!

Reading her book with Daddy

See? She's barefoot. I swear I put socks on my child, but she doesn't seem to care that it's a Wisconsin winter; she just yanks them right off.

Playing with Daddy's gift card

Super Wallace!

Hmmm, this book intrigues me...
