More summer fun

We love to explore new places, so one of the things we did while Austin was visiting was to go up to the Devil's Lake area and go to Pewitt's Nest. So pretty and green!

Summer Days....

One of the places we love to go but don't really have time to get to during the school year is the downtown Madison library. So the kids and I headed there one day and went to this new place called Short Stack for lunch afterwards; it served some pretty good pancakes! We'll definitely be going back :)

Fun with family!

We loved having Austin, Steph and Ronnie visiting over the 4th of July! And, not surprisingly, Owen was obsessed with the fireworks!

Catching up....

Summer is once again getting away from me; no! I'm not ready for school to start in 5 1/2 weeks! We're having too much fun here enjoying this blissfully hot weather (well, except it definitely puts a damper on my running outside! Some days even at 5 am, it's already 78 degrees! So it's back to the gym for now...)
