We've all been having a great time with my mom here. A couple Saturdays ago, we all saw Despicable Me 2 in the theater (which Kate loved!) and then my mom watched Kate while Dan and I went to Bellini Italian Restaurant, which is in this beautiful old church downtown. The food was good and of course it was so fun to go on an actual date!
This past Wednesday we met Meghan and her kids downtown for the farmers' market and then Kate and Adelaide had fun running around on the capitol lawn together. On Friday we went with our playgroup to tour a fire station; Kate had a blast! She was so interested in everything; she couldn't stop talking about it when we got home. These photos are just from my phone so they are not the greatest, but at least it's something!
On Friday night we went down to Long Grove, and on Saturday my aunt Chris had her annual summer party. This year's theme was the Great Gatsby; so fun! On Sunday we went to see the Book of Mormon musical downtown (which was so hilarious!) so Dan took Kate & Rori to Legoland. Kate had so much fun; she keeps asking when we'll go back.
