We designed this blog as a way to keep up with all our family and friends, and share our fun moments as Kate grows up. So often, life gets in the way of staying in regular touch with those we love, so we wanted to make it easier for us to keep you all updated, and vice versa. We'd love to hear from you!
I know I'm going a bit out of order, but I absolutely loved these pictures from her dress rehearsal, so I wanted to get them posted!

Toddlers in Motion; a free class at the Hawthorne Library
excited about her first library card, and proud she's able to check out books all by herself!
Holding a friend's baby; coloring wise, she looks more like me than my kids do!
Rocking his hat that he made at the Mad Hatter Tea Party at the Cambridge library (my parents took him and Kate, which was awesome)

Kate and I had a wonderful time on her first Girl Scout overnight camping trip. She was so funny; she was convinced she wanted to sleep in the tent outside (even though we don't have an air mattress/sleeping pad) but as soon as she saw the bunk beds, she was easily swayed!
We were at Camp Brandenberg, about a half hour from our house. It was a beautiful spring weekend, and it was filled with lots of hiking, scavenger hunts, a hilarious skit, s'mores, and fun with friends!

Kate did such a fantastic job at her recital! Her ballet number was to the tune of a song called ballerina, which I had never heard before but is very pretty and of course brought tears to my eyes when I saw Kate dancing! Her tap number was to the song peppermint twist. I can't believe this was her fourth recital!

Today, our friends Renee and Emma posted a fun camp out play date for some members of our playgroup. Owen and Emma are such little buddies, so of course they loved playing together. And it was very fun to be outside, sit by the campfire, and have Smore's. Although I think Owen just prefers the plain marshmallows, ha ha. He had about four of them!
