Father's Day!

We had a great Father's Day celebration. We went to the Original Pancake House with Tracy, Kirsti, and my grandparents, and then our family of four went to the Octagon House (a really cool historical landmark built in the 1850s, and it is, you guessed it, a house shaped like an Octagon) and ice cream at a nearby old-school diner. So fun; Kate appears to love history almost as much as I do!

Lagoon!

Kate & I had a WONDERFUL day, just the two of us, when we went to Lagoon during our Utah trip. My parents were kind enough to watch Owen so that I could spend the whole day with just my special girl. It was so fun! She is such a little daredevil; she would have gone on every ride had she met the height limits!

 You can't really see her here, but luckily she found some kids to go on the teacup ride with (because I don't do spinning rides unless absolutely necessary!)

Hogle Zoo

On Thursday, June 5 we went to Hogle Zoo with my mom. We had such a great time, and of course we hit up the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner afterward! Kate loved seeing the polar bear and the grizzly bears, and Owen went crazy over the river otters!

Playdate with Brooklyn!

We were able to spend some time with Angie and Brooklyn while in Utah; it was so fun! Kate had so much fun with her friend.
