We had a great time visiting family in Utah. We got so much worked in; The Old Spaghetti Factory (of course!), the park, the splash pad, the nature center, the children's museum, tea at Grand America, a musical (Kate of course stayed with Uncle Austin and Grandpa for that), and Lagoon. Very, very fun time!

Our Trip to Utah
By some cool birdhouse that Kate loved because it's a castle
Looks like a postcard, doesn't it?
In some cool "mouse hole"; Kate loved it!
At tea at Grand America:
The blooming flower jasmine tea (or something like that) that Kate was so obsessed with

Kate's Dance Recital
On June 1, Kate had her first dance recital. She did such an amazing job; I was so proud of her! She remembered all of her moves and wasn't scared at all; she is such a little performer! They danced to an "updated" version of Some Day My Prince Will Come, and it was adorable! Afterward we went and got ice cream at Dairy Queen (my tradition growing up was always going to Baskin Robbins after the recital, but since they don't have that here, DQ will have to do!) and then went over to Kirsti's for her birthday cookout. We then hopped a plane at 6:30 pm to go to Utah; whew! What a day.
She looks dazed; perhaps she's a little nervous after all!
Dan tried to get some pics but they weren't the best...
She's the one furthest to the right (stage left)
She loves this microphone from Tracy & family!
