More fun at Olbrich!

We had a great day with my Mom during the last part of her visit here, exploring the beautiful Olbrich gardens.Love summer here!

We went to the Deerfield library while we waited for my mom to help my grandma run errands, etc. One of the benefits of the small town is that we were the only ones there!

We had a sitter; yay!!! So we went to dinner at Cooper's Tavern (yum!) and then to the speakeasy-themed adults-only event at the children's museum.

So grown up!

Blooming Butterflies!

Yes I realize I'm going backwards with my posts. Oh well. On Thursday 7/31 we went to Olbrich with Meghan and her family. First we checked out the Blooming Butterflies exhibit in the conservancy (very cool!) and then roamed the grounds for a bit. Such a beautiful place!

A Perfect Summer Day...

I know I always say this, but I'm so blessed to be home with my children. On Friday, August 1, we went to a friend's apartment with a gorgeous rooftop pool (I think I've posted about that before!) and swam for a few hours before going to Sprecher's for lunch. I had so much fun with Kate & Owen just laughing and talking (well, Owen just laughed; no talking from him). That night, we went to a Frozen storytime at Barnes & Noble, which was very fun. A great start to our weekend.

Summer fun!

On Saturday, August 2 it was a gorgeous summer day so we checked out this new beach in Stoughton. Kate loved it! All the bouncy houses/slides/etc. right in the water? She was in heaven!
