The Fire Station

Our playgroup toured a different fire station on Wednesday the 30th, so Kate and I decided to check it out (leaving Owen with Grandma Gail). She had a great time!

Happy Halloween!

On Sunday, October 27 we went trick-or-treating at the zoo. It was a beautiful fall day; sunny and warm. Kate had a great time; she is obsessed now with trick or treating! Although I kind of think she liked the bounce house at the end of the trick or treat line the best...

Fall Fun

We had a great October; lots of fun activities. Owen is growing so much; it's amazing to see. He is such a little smiler all the time; such a good-natured baby!

On Friday October 25 we had such an awesome day; I was just so happy to be with my little sweeties. First we skipped Spanish class to go to a pumpkin class at Olbrich Gardens (yes, I double booked myself). Kate had a great time playing with the pumpkin-scented play doh, decorating pumpkins, and playing the pumpkin bean bag toss.

Then we went trick or treating at the downtown Halloween event. A bunch of different businesses were handing out candy, and the weather was beautiful. A little chilly, but sunny and calm, so we had a blast. Kate loves trick or treating! Then Grandma Gail came that night to meet the littlest member of our family, so all in all it was a perfect Friday!
