Rotary Garden Lights

The first weekend in January we went to the light display at the rotary gardens in Janesville. Gorgeous! We were blown away. Definitely something we will do next year.

Open Gym

It's still kind of weird to me that it's just Owen and me during the day, now that Kate's at school. I miss her so much! But she loves school, and it's nice to have one on one time with Owen.

Winter fun

Even though we loved the warm weather of Disney World, we were still having a great time in the frozen tundra before our trip, as well! In early January, Kate and I went to the Overture Center to see Beauty and the Beast, the Broadway musical. It was so amazing, we both loved it! Afterward, we went to Tutto Pasta for a late lunch. Such a special day with my sweet girl. I love moments like these :-)

American Girl Tea Party

I'm going to do my best to catch up on updates, so I'll be working my way backward through the camera roll on my phone!

On January 25, Kate didn't have school so I registered us for the American Girl Tea Party at the library. It was so fun! Kate brought her Kaya doll, and we were seated at the Kit table, along with a friend from 4K and a friend from Girl Scouts. We had peach herbal tea, pink lemonade, and different pastries. We learned about tea party etiquette and did various crafts. Such a fun afternoon!

 

We got the trivia sheet right, so she got to pick a book. She was very excited to get the one she wanted! 

 
 
 
 
 

Our Last Day of Vacation

Sadly all vacations have to come to an end. But our last day has been a good one! We had lunch with Katrina and Patrick, then headed to Magic Kingdom where we were able to get on quite a few rides due to a lot of people leaving because of the rain. Kate got to meet Merida, which she was thrilled about, since it was the first time meeting her. Owen loved Dumbo so much we went on it twice.

We had a wonderful time at Epcot today. A little cooler than the other days, but that's ok. Still a lot of fun!
