We had a nice, relaxing Christmas Eve, attending the five o'clock service at church and then coming home to a delicious dinner of sauerbraten and spaetzel (my mouth is watering just thinking about it; I wonder if my dad could ship me some?) We of course put out cookies and milk for Santa before hanging the stockings and reading Christmas stories. It's so fun now that Kate really "gets" Christmas!
