This weekend was unusually mild for December, so we decided to head down to Old World Wisconsin for their holiday festivities. We had a great time! We saw Father Christmas, toured the houses and saw how they would have decorated for the holidays back in the 1800s, and sang Christmas carols from around the world. I know it sounds silly, but when we were all singing Silent Night together, I wanted to cry because I was so happy. I was there with my wonderful husband, my soulmate, and our two amazing kids--our sweet, spunky, loving, creative, brilliant Kate and our cuddly, amazing, snuggly, happy, sweet Owen--during the happiest time of the year. I am so blessed. I couldn't ask for anything more; I love my life!
