Even though Owen turned one in September, we had his birthday party the day after Thanksgiving so my mom could be there, as well as my aunt from Chicago, etc. Even though he had been a little bit sick, he loved his party and it seemed like he really knew that it was a special day for him.
My cake wasn't the prettiest decorated, but it sure tasted good!
