Our second day in Disney World, we went to the Magic Kingdom for our Cinderella breakfast. I knew it'd be fun and Kate would be excited, but I couldn't fathom how fun it would be, or how excited Kate would get! At the risk of sounding like a sentimental sap, I almost teared up a few times seeing how excited my baby girl was. And of course she looked adorable in her beautiful Cinderella dress and crown (courtesy of Nana, of course).
We also hit up a lot of rides; Philharmagic, Small World, the Carousel, Aladdin's Magic Carpet, Jungle Cruise, the Riverboat, Dumbo, and my mom took her into Country Bear Jamboree while Nancy and I went on Splash Mountain (my favorite ride ever!) Even with a downpour around 2 pm (we had to stand under a shelter and wait for the rain to dissipate; it felt like it took forever, even though it was only around 20 minutes), we still got a lot in! And I was so pleased, Kate waited so patiently for all the rides. Granted, none of the lines were extremely long (I think the longest we waited was 20 minutes) but for a two year old to wait so patiently for 20 minutes, I was quite impressed!
Blurry, but still a cute pic
The server was so nice; she asked how old Kate was, and I replied that she just turned two in February. So she brought her out a birthday cupcake and a birthday card signed by all the princesses, even though her birthday was over a month before this!
I love the expression on her face!
