Kate & I flew to Orlando Thursday afternoon (March 29) and met up with my mom at the airport before catching our shuttle to Port Orleans French Quarter. Kate was so amazed with all the sights, sounds and smells of the Disney World grounds, and we hadn't even gone to the parks yet!
Friday morning we got up and headed to Epcot. We took in the Nemo ride, which Kate seemed to really like, before going to the German restaurant for our lunch reservation. Kate absolutely adored the food (I have never seen a two-year-old eat as well as Kate does) and the live music. She danced in her high chair to the polka music and was fascinated by their different acts (the bell ringing, the tuba playing, etc.) After lunch we walked around for quite a bit and looked at the gardens; the Flower & Garden Show was going on so there was lots to see! Kate also met Princess Aurora that day, and wasn't shy at all.
We headed back to the hotel late in the afternoon so she could take a nap (we all ended up sleeping, ha!) and by the time we woke up Nancy had arrived (yay!) We just ate dinner that night in the food court before swimming in the pool; it was unseasonably warm (in the 90s!) so we wanted to take advantage of that.
Such a good traveler--so excited to be on the plane to Orlando!

"Are you guys going to be ready to go anytime soon?"
