On Monday (Nancy's last day--boo) we went to the Animal Kingdom. It was a beautiful day out--not too hot, not too cold (although it felt positively balmy after the cold snap we endured on Sunday; brrr). Kate loved the Kilimanjaro Safari; she had so much fun pointing out all the animals. We also went on the Triceratops Spin three (!) times, which she was super excited about. And my mom, Nancy and I braved the Dinosaur ride while Dan took Kate to meet Goofy and Pluto. She luckily fell asleep in the afternoon; some of the other days she was so excited that it was impossible to get her to nap. So we strolled about the park and had some snacks in order to let her sleep as long as possible, and then we went back to the resort to get her ready for our dinner with the princesses (she wanted to wear her Aurora dress).
Oh. My. Gosh. That was one of the highlights of our trip; I wanted to cry seeing how excited she was. She loved meeting all the princesses (Belle, Aurora, Snow White, Ariel and Cinderella), and when they announced that all the kids were going to be in a parade with the royalty, I may indeed have gotten a bit teary-eyed. She had so much fun, which made it a blast for all of us, too. When we got back to the hotel, she said, "That was a really fun day!" I agree!
Dan said the characters were having fun with Kate and doing whatever she did--when she sat down, they sat down, etc.
