So far we are three for three in making the Lunchtime Live concerts; so fun! I love being on the capital lawn listening to great music while the kids play. It's so much less crowded than the Concerts on the Square, too, which is nice with little ones.
On Wednesday we had a bunch of errands to run so we decided to make a pit stop at Laredo's for lunch so we could eat outside. I just took these shots of Owen to text Dan, because he hates seeing our children with messy faces (which obviously Owen completely disregards!)
That night we went to Concert on the Square, although it definitely wasn't our best outing. I think Kate is used to Lunchtime Live where she can run around since it's a lot more casual, less crowded, etc. So she was having a hard time listening so we had to leave a bit early. And I was disappointed that they were mainly doing show tunes (which normally I like) but c'mon, it's the 4th of July show! Where are the patriotic, rousing, big band songs??!
