Summer Days....

Are drifting away..... seriously, the summer is going by much too fast! But we're having a blast! Love this time of year :)

Ready for a day at the beach on Friday, July 17. We had a great time at Sandy Beach in Lake Mills (unfortunately I didn't get any pictures). But Owen loved digging in the sand, and it was so hot out, so it was perfect for swimming.

Friday night, we went to Strings and Things at the Henry Vilas Zoo. It was so fun (even though it was beastly hot. Beastly.... see what I did there?) We had free carousel rides, train rides, and listened to the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra while we ate our dinner. There were lots of great local vendors there; I was tempted to try one called Melted, which had some AMAZING grilled cheese offerings, but grilled cheese in 90 degree heat + humidity didn't sound appealing!

Owen loved the lion. He kept going back to him and giving him high fives. ha!
